Are SEO roles at risk as models like ChatGPT increasingly handle content creation? Or does the current hype outweigh the actual practical capabilities? Can Open Source GenAI today deliver high-quality SEO tasks, or are we still years away from AI independently carrying out comprehensive SEO strategies? This presentation will explore these questions, examining both the opportunities and limitations of integrating AI into SEO projects. Through a practical, case study approach, we will assess AI’s effectiveness in conducting a high-level SEO audit, completing instruction-based SEO tasks, and then we will compare the results to those produced by human expertise.
